That’s actually not a crazy idea anymore.Gute's history of 1st round picks is meh he should just trade out of the 1st round every year LOL.

it sure beats drafting a player with "potential" that needs to sit on the bench for 2 or 3 years. (other than a qb, that is). That’s actually not a crazy idea anymore.
Not sure I think GB wants to a 4-5 million a year offer he will stay in GB. He's not a high end backup won't get the 8-10 million a year but still a decent mid level backup. The shame is that Malik Willis is basically in the perfect spot for his talent level and should be trying to lock down this long term back up spot in GB but because of the economics of QBs and the scarcity, he’s going to be gone.
High-end low-end, he’s shown he can operate in this system and do what ML wants. 3-0 while Love was down. What else do you want? You have your starter, a capable vet back up and then draft your developmental guys where you can.Not sure I think GB wants to a 4-5 million a year offer he will stay in GB. since you asked they tailored the O to make him work... in reality, you want the opposite. You guys don't help when you justify Gutes poor choices.High-end low-end, he’s shown he can operate in this system and do what ML wants. 3-0 while Love was down. What else do you want? He saved their season, it was a great pick up. I’m just sayin’!since you asked they tailored the O to make him work... in reality, you want the opposite. You guys don't help when you justify Gutes poor choices.

i know i'm in the minority, but i sincerely believe that willis is better than several starting qbs in the nfl, and he got a raw deal with the hapless titans. there aren't a lot of qbs that could come in to a new organization as a backup, running the scout team for a few weeks, and then with one week's notice come in as the starter and win three games in a row. of the current nfl qbs, the only one i can remember doing something similar was brock purdy - who parlayed that into a full-time starting role.
