That’s a good point, never thought of that angle. Especially if it’s a Rodgers-Packers reunion, no way Pitt wouldn’t protect that game if they can. I actually didn’t know teams could protect individual games from international poaching.

Yeah it's why GB is not playing an international game very often. Many teams don't want to give up GB because it's a guaranteed sellout as the GB fans go to away games.

Makes me think though how Mark Murphy a month or two ago said he expected GB to play in more international games which if the away teams want to keep those games it means GB would have to give up a home game more often to play overseas.

Sucks that the local economy in theory should get a 9th game every year (once they go to 18) but can’t always rely on the income from it.
 
So much for Mark Murphy BS talk about ticket prices of how they want to try to stay in the middle of the league. They are the 6th highest in the NFL. No reason GB should be that high.


There is one very good reason they should be that high, because GB fans will complain but still pay it. And if they don’t there are thousands of others who will.
