Willis isn't ready to backup now and won't be ready for the foreseeable future. He has to learn the offense, and he's not a cerebral player so it'll take some time. I imagine they'll keep three QBs.

New NFL rules the PS QB can be 3rd QB on game day. Pratt will end up on the PS. I don't think you have to worry about him getting claimed.Willis isn't ready to backup now and won't be ready for the foreseeable future. Packers trading a 7th round pick to Tennessee for Malik Willis
The NFLPA nixed a league-approved rule allowing an emergency third QB to come from the practice squad with unlimited call-ups.
Teams were informed that the players association vetoed the revised emergency third quarterback rule that would have allowed teams to elevate a bona fide QB from the practice squad an unlimited number of times, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Monday, per a source informed of the situation.
The rule reverts to the 2023 parameters, which state that an emergency third QB must be on the 53-man roster or as one of two standard elevations per week. An elevated QB would have to be active for the game rather than in the emergency role. A player can be activated three times per season.
great job, gutey!According to ESPN’s Rob Demovsky, the “feeling internally” is that Green Bay’s first tackle off of the bench for the regular season isn’t on the team’s current roster.
Willis offers nothing. He’s not a competent backup and certainly won’t win you any games if he has to play.Packers trading a 7th round pick to Tennessee for Malik Willis
