Depends on structure. Might be a way to get 10’s deal done with little risk.Still $20 million a year for a guy pushing 30 is questionable to pay.

From what it looks like GB sticking to motto of paying out guranteed money in SB. Saying Clark will get $29 million paid in 2024. So guessing around $25 million or so in SB spread out over 4 years.Depends on structure. Might be a way to get 10’s deal done with little risk.
So guessing $10 million salary and another $1.5 million in bonuses paid out to him this year to get to the $29 million in cash he gets this year.Spotrac is showing the signing bonus at $17.5mil. With his salary it'll put his CAP hit at $27+mil this year. The good thing would seem to be that when Love's contract really starts to kick in and they need to start paying their young players they'll be able to get out from under Clark's contract without too much of a dead CAP hit. The risk is that you need to get 2 good years out of him to avoid cutting him too early and rolling all the remaining signing bonus into the CAP early.
Along with seven former No. 1 picks, the defense now has three players making over $20M annually. If this group isn't really good, either Brian Gutekunst can't judge defensive talent and/or the coaching still stinks.
