he's our best wide receiver and he's a tight end. of all the receivers who had 3 or more targets against the jags, he was the only one to catch every ball thrown his way. surprising that he wasn't used more.

He blocked the #1 overall DE pick one on one on the decisive throw to Reed at the end of the game. Stoned him. More valuable than catches.

yep. he's one heckuva blocker too. not sure that's more valuable than receiving, but it sure is valuable.

LaFleur says that the big play to Reed was not only a "can" by Willis but it was something they essentially put in during the game after they saw something in the Jags defense, something they had thought about during the week and decided against installing. Never practiced it.

It tells me Willis and Reed are both listening and absorbing what they're going over in skull sessions.
 
So 8 days away from the trade deadline. Personally I think GB is not going to make a move. If they would makea move it would be CB help I would think. Do they need OL help? Yeah but everyone in this league is looking for OL help and no one is moving anyone that is decent right now. Only OL help you get is backup or a washed up vet with a bad contract.

Though you wonder did Gute just pick up the phone at all and say David if you think you can get your knee into shape to play this year give us a call?

Tucker Kraft now has five TD catches in eight games this season. Among NFL tight ends, only George Kittle has more. His 342 yards are only 13 fewer than he had as a rookie.
