Packers 2024-25 Season Thread

Green Bay Packers continue to buy up land. Have now purchased the Green Bay Disillery on Morris St. Plan to continue to lease the building to the company

Jeff Hafley on his good friend Robert Saleh's presence in Green Bay: "I’m at the point in my career where I’m pretty secure and confident in what we’re doing, where we’re heading, the staff that we have on defense. So whether it was a really good friend of mine like it is or some guy that I really don’t know, I just think that’s a way bigger thought and a story than it actually is. I came here to win ... I want to win football games and I want to win a championship and I’m not going to have anything distract me to do such."

A lot of the media is always looking for the “bad” angle that creates drama because most journalists these days are lazy douche wads. The problem is there are a lot of fans who eat that crap up.

Here is the main point, ML is looking to make this team better. Saleh is a helluva defensive coach/mind bringing him in makes the team and coaches better. End of story.

This isn’t a situation with a guy like Jones who would put coaches against each other in order to find out who comes out on top.

Packers UDFA Donovan Jennings had $100K guaranteed salary when he was released at roster cutdowns - This hit the 2024 books as dead cap.However - he has now earned exactly $100K while on their PS for 8 weeks. Packers will receive $100K cap credit offset for the 2025 season.

Plus, it really sounds like we are using Saleh on the offense.

Without any knowledge of the real situation, probably using his defensive mind to attack our offensive strategies to provide us with information as to how defenses could stop our strategies so that we can counter defensive strategies.

I think the Pack is playing chess my friends.

Must be nice though you spend full season on the PS you get $212,500 to just practice and don't have to worry about being in a game and unless you are elevated up for gameday probably don't even have to travel to games.
