Packers 2022 Thread

Initial reports this morning are that Gary has a torn ACL
With what happened to Bak I would no longer extend him. Instead see if he comes back. You can always use the FT on him after next year if he looks to be fine. Extending him IMO is to big of a risk

One more thing. Is anyone in this QB class top 5 worthy? Maybe 1 guy and that’s debatable
So what your saying that this could be like 2006 the Packers get a top 5 pick for it to be one of the worst draft classes of all time.

If you want a QB it’s not optimal
IMO there's no reason to consider a high QB unless it's a no-brainer, Andrew Luck type prospect. They spent draft capital on Love, they need to play him for a year to see what's there. Worst case he flops and you get a crack at the 2024 QB class, which may (or may not, who knows) be better. Would be much better to build up the OL and WR group so that the next QB at least has a shot.

Also sounds like it's crappy draft for OL and WR so everything GB can use it's a lackluster draft.
Jalen Carter or Will Anderson would be nice if it’s a top 10 pick. There are multiple needs

Good news, GB also needs a stud edge rusher and a stud interior DL. The roster is soft, they need good players everywhere.
With taking Wyatt in round one a year ago I would hope he becomes that Stud DL. Though I think a Safety might be bigger need on the defense.
