Yep. They aren’t necessarily looking for a WR who’s an instant sensation.

Nice coach speak. To even mention how many “stars” a kid had is irrelevant. Today you take s hard look at analytics, there is enough film out there to evaluate these kids

exactly. the packers are never going to draft someone who can be that good from the get-go. we like developmental guys in the first two rounds.

Well there is not one guy this is a Chase type and Jefferson was not expected to develop so quickly.

You put pressure on kid to produce right away he could bust. I am not expecting a guy to come in be 1 or 2 right away

in 2020, the packers originally had the 30th draft pick in the first round. tee higgins and michael pittman jr. were taken with picks #33 and 34. both were pretty much immediate starters as rookies, although pittman was injured early on and didn't resume playing until week 9.
