Official Week 17 Green Bay vs Minnesota Thread

Vikings weakness is their pass defense. We need to be able be balanced and use play action. Protect Love and don't turn the ball over and the offense should do well.

The D might struggle especially at CB with JJ, Addison, and Hockenson. They will have to play like last week for us to have a chance.

At the surface the Vikings seem like they are a very good team. I just can't figure out if they are for real. They sure find ways to win.

I get frustrated with Jefferson. He is extremely hard to guard. He always seems to come down with the ball. My question really lies in the defense. How good are they? I guess my questions will be answered on Sunday. GOPACKGO!
They are for real. Their defense is 15th and their offense is 12th ranked. They have one of the hardest schedules this year based on opponents records.

The Packers are better on paper but will we play better this weekend? Good question. Hopefully, we are hitting our stride.

It does look like no Jaire again and no Walker and no Watson. That could be a big factor.

per the latest strength of schedule updates, the Packers have had the 3rd toughest NFC schedule this year(only Lions and 49ers were tougher), and the Vikings had the 2nd easiest so far (but have the toughest remaining schedule). For full disclosure, based on 2023 records the Packers had the 4th toughest schedule, and the Vikings were in the middle.

i think we will win if we play a complete game in all three facets. we came pretty close to that against the injury depleted saints, but doing it against the mostly healthy vikings and all of their offensive weapons ??? i hope so. i'd love to see it. darnold and jefferson seem to have the same sort of connection that rodgers had with davante. our guys are going to have to be really focused.

Matt LaFleur was asked after practice if he thought Alexander had a better chance of playing this week than he did against the Saints. His response: "Probably not."
