Official Week 1 Green Bay vs Philadelphia Thread

I didn't get to see any of the preseason games. I just looked on in here and ESPN gameday.

I heard nothing good about the offensive line - it may have been depth, but I still heard nothing good. I didn't here much good about the defensive line. Regardless of the pretty boy dancin' stars, I think games are won in the trenches. I don't have a good feelin'.

Now we have a ton of injuries. Who's that Tight End guy that we all hoped would be a great Packers' guy but gets on te field less than a single wrapped slice of Kraft? And, our running backs? Who are they tonight.

I'm hoping for good stuff in spite of the above.

Still, since I predicted a perfect season - Pack wins big.

You can't judge the offensive line by the preseason because they didn't play. The starting 4 played 3 snaps together, but Zach Tom was still out.

As for Tucker Kraft, he played 19 out of a possible 19 games as rookie. He's questionable tonight, yes, but I'm not sure your annoyance about him not being on the field is based in reality.

he's probably thinking about musgrave.

I'm ready for some football! Packer football! This is my 75th season of following the Packers. My first game I went to with my Dad, I was 8 years old.

Thanks! I'm hoping for it. My wife has become an extremely knowledgeable fan herself, and has carried on conversations with players from the past, about the game. She's surprises them with her knowledge. Even when I was coaching, she started getting involved in my Xs and Os, as I was diagramming plays. She often thought up little wrinkles we could use in the games.

She'd be there at every practice, sitting in the stands, watching, and writing notes about what she saw from her perspective. It helped us mold some amazing teams.

She has everything set up and ready to go for tonight so she can sit down and watch the game without interrupting it for herself. She even turns off her phone, like I do, just before game time. They don't go back on until the game is over.

She's been doing this with me for a long time. This is her 59th year of it. We'll be married 60 years early next year. We're really joined at the hip when it comes to things we like and do. It's been an amazing journey.
