Maybe Bud has to tell him to get his head out of his ***? There are nice ways to tell him he can help the team more by making that pass.

I don’t disagree. The 3 ball stuff I just don’t get. That’s more impatient than anything and not understanding the flow. On the doubles low, he’s so strong he just maybe feels he can power up but hell he’s only 65% or so from the line so that’s not helping either.

Maybe it’s just me but without Middleton they don’t run nearly as much pick action which is a staple of that offense.

No. The picks aren't there, except with Lopez setting them. I have no idea why they abandon it.

Just me but Allen, Matthews and Portis are more spot up shooters where Middleton is more fluid. Also the 3 mentioned above are not great passers either so there’s that also. Middleton and Giannis run that 2 man game to perfection

Personally I would start Portis over Allen tonight. I get why he went small and but with Williams, Tatum and Horford they have so much length it’s hard to play small ball

Way I start Portis is if I expect a physical game and Bobby will use his size

Actually yes I have. But let the best player shoot over double teams is not a recipe for success when he’s doubled by 2 guys 6-11

Which is basically what I said. He’s has the length to cause issues but even then he’s not a great defender especially the perimeter. Can he close out on Horford ? Doubtful
