It IS Jordan Love Time !!

i think sitting behind a qb for one year is reasonable. wasting 75% of a 1st round pick's rookie contract seems absurd to me. i'm glad it worked out for us, but i think we should have traded rodgers after one year of love sitting (2 at most). if we had traded rodgers right after an mvp year, i think we could have gotten a lot more in return.

RB, from what I heard Love was not ready even in the 2nd year. That is why Gute and Murphy (nuts(() paid AR becuase he was an MVP and they were not sure about Love yet.

Just my two tc(

yeah, i've heard that too. but, still think it would have been better to suffer through a year of learning on the job than losing the chance to capitalize on rodgers' 4th mvp season. and who knows, maybe if they started love a year sooner it only takes him a few games to get up to speed? it's all pointless speculation on my part, and really my point wasn't specifically about jordan love. i just meant in general it would be good to sit a rookie qb for a year before throwing them to the wolves.

I remember watching Love the preseason before the 2022 season (Rodgers’ last) and thinking that he was making the right reads in the offense and looked like he “got it”. That was probably the year they should’ve rolled with him, because later in the season he came in during that Eagles game, looked good and the rest is history. So yeah, team waited a year too long but I do get their process.

Jordan Love has elite level pocket presenceThis season: - 8.3% P2S Ratio (1st out of 44 QBs)- 3.01% Sack Rate (1st)His career sack rate is 4.15% For context, among qualifying QBs Patrick Mahomes is #1 all-time at 4.28%

In the Next Gen Stats Era Jordan Love had the hardest throw in NFL history this year.

How are they defining "hard."

I believe a certain Mississippian threw it harder as in velocity than any of the named.

Also, our recent ex through some pretty zippy passes.

If this is all time, I have a hard time being believing they aren't on the list

It’s since 2018.

All time? Uncle Rico once threw a pigskin a quarter mile. Can’t beat that.
