From Our Blog: Pre-Camp Team Breakdown by Position: First Introducing the Packer QB's

Bringing up the question of what TT sees in him that merited a trade up - 5th and 7th only used on him, to be sure, but still an obvious decision.

NEP called TT and offered the trade not TT. TT just accepted the offer. At the time Hundley was probably at the top of TT's board.

If he was at the top of the board that's scary. He would have been there later. Just a horrible pick

I would not be stunned to see Hundley released.
No way they release Hundley. Mike wants a shot at developing him. Remember Blanchard has a concussion history too. He could make the PS if Hundley gets injured, but he's a long shot.

Agree with Nerd, I'd be seriously surprised if they release Hundley. They see something (I'm guessing physical tools) and are hoping to get his head in the same place as his body. Hundley will stick for at least a year and be at next year's training camp.

I thought Tolzien actually looked pretty good when Mike let him throw deep to intermediate. It's just those predictable short passes that killed him, like the one JPP called out in the defensive huddle before pick 6'ing it.

As for Hundley, I think he has the chance to be elite, but he's got a ways to go. Might need him in 3 years, hope he comes along.

Hundleys ceiling us as a backup and that's 2-3 years away.
