I would never coach him to never take it. Never. If you never attempt it all you do is tell the defense it’s 4 on 5. I’m not saying shoot 10 a game but don’t abandon it completely
 
Lopez came up from the key to make the challenges. He was not all over the court following someone like he has been in recent games. The intent was for Lopez and Giannis to cut off the Young tear drops, and it worked. He only shoots it inside about 8-9 feet. They didn't let him get there. He was forced to shoot conventional jumpers that were contested.

I just think that you do what you do best the 3 and the outside jumper is a weak part of his game. Can he work on them and improve? Sure and he should just don't want him taking a bunch just because the other teams know it's a weak part of his game so they give him the shots to take.
 
Though will be interesting down in ATL do the refs watch Giannis more then at home when he's at the line since he does like to abuse the 10 second shot clock?

Bucks it seems will let Young keep going ahead and shoot all that long range stuff he wants too but he wants to go inside they are going to make him work for it.

He does not take a “bunch”. Again the issue is early in the shot clock

That’s not the adjustment they made. They never let him see the paint, only 2 points last night. They moved Giannis and Lopez / Portis high, basically Capela could not pick both. He had to settle for a 35 ft shot
