Black Monday Thread

The #Cowboys have interest in and are expected to interview former #Jets coach Robert Saleh for the vacant head coach position, source said. Would be their first known request.

For one year back into the NFL, you have to take the interview. I agree with GBP, I don’t think he’s a top contender, I’ve thought for a while Aaron Glenn is their guy if they can get him.

Agree it's good practice to see how interviews go for the future. Even though if I were him I would not take that job if offered. That is a a dumpster fire job and could be a career killer for a first time coach.

It’s interesting that Steno also got an interview but no one really making a big deal out of it.

Random musing, but I wonder if Saleh got the Cowboys HC job, if he would take Steno with him as OC. He would have play calling duties in a situation like that, which would be a big step towards an actual HC job.

With Dallas I think they will either hire Kellen Moore or if it was true with Jerry wanting to groom Jason Witten for the job they hire Mike Zimmer as HC on a 3 year deal with plans to move Witten into the future HC role.

Rumors on social media Ben Johnson either ends up in Vegas or staying with the Lions.
