There's less than two months until National Signing Day for the class of 2016. TheWisconsin Badgerscontinued their contact with high school recruits while awaiting their bowl fate.

With cornerbacksDarius Hillary,Terrance FloydandT.J. Reynardleaving the team after the 2015 season due to exhausting their eligibility -- and fellow seniorDevin Gauldenalready transferring to Wake Forest prior to this season -- there's concern with the depth at that position. UW's coaching staff has already been in contact with Gibsonton, Fla., (East Bay)'s K.J. Sails, Alexandria, Va. (Episcopal)'s Patrice Rene, among other talented recruits. In the past couple of days, however, the Badgers have offered two new cornerbacks -- LaVert Hill and Dontye Carriere-Williams.

Hill, a 247Sports composite four-star prospect, tweeted the newsthat he was offered by Wisconsin on Thursday. The 5'10, 160-pound cornerback from Detroit, Mich. (Martin Luther King),recently de-committed from Penn Statelast week. He holdsoffers from Michigan, Michigan State, Arizona State, Ohio State and USC.
Wisconsin will have to make up some ground here with the late offer, especially with Michigan head coach Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverinespursuing hardin hisHarbaugh-esque way.Hill alsovisitedTennessee this weekend.

Carriere-Williams' situation appears to bear watching more intently. The current Cincinnati and three-star commit wasoffered by Wisconsinon Saturday. Aside from the Bearcats, the 5'10, 170-pound cornerback from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. (St. Thomas Aquinas), hasoffers from South Florida, Buffalo, Florida Atlantic, Bowling Green and Temple.

The defensive back committed to Cincinnati back in May, but the latest offer from Wisconsin could be agame-changer ($).247Sports's Ryan Bartow first reported the offer here ($).
