Doubs was a league leader over the last several years in drop %. I like him but there's no way they were keeping him. I think WR groups function better when you have a no doubt top 2-3, rather than pretending you go 5-6 deep like the last few years. For a lot of these guys they need to be fed the ball, they need touches and reps. I want to see how they perform this way.

Fully agree with Mark. The worry for me with Watson, is that he has already had imbalance issues the may have lead to an inordinate amount of hammy and lower body injuries. Throw in the current injury and there is even a higher risk that he suffers another. I hope I am wrong and certainly am wishing that on the young man but it's definitely something to watch closely.
sounds like a decent #3 receiver for a 4k yard qb.
I will remind you and others we tried that #1 go to WR crap with Adams, and it still didn't get us to the promised land. Frankly, that's a much easier scenario defensively to defend than 3 of those #3 WR where you have to pick your poison.
i'm not looking for a fight, mark. but a 4k qb needs a couple guys at or above 1k plus a couple 600yd guys plus a good tight end and a running back who catches some. if you've got two guys capable of a thousand yards or better (for example, let's say watson and golden) plus a guy like reed who probably deserved more touches anyway, and then you throw in a guy like kraft who is a wr in a tight end's body, and a couple role players like musgrave, williams, moore, and maybe sturdivant i think there's going to be plenty of hungry mouths to feed. i'll freely admit that your football knowledge is beyond my level, but i'm going to try to stay positive unless we just plain suck.
I don't disagree with that but you put your nuts in a noose when you traded two #1 for the "next Reggie White" without having the talent around Love. People forget it's 2026 not 1996, different rules and a salary cap/CBA make how you approach it all different.
and say again...there are a lot of things to watch in camp.
