raiders head coach pete carroll praised his effort in may:

“It’s been a difficult recovery and he’s done everything he needs to do,” Carroll said. “He’s been here every day. He’s here early working hard. He’s not ready to get back out. We’re in the midst of a long, challenging process. Fortunately, there’s a lot of time and we’re going to take every bit of it to be really diligent about the way we work.”

In Parson's defense Jerry is notorious slow in dealing with deals. He likes to drag out talks and wait to the last minute to pay a player. Which for Jerry has usually ended up in him paying more money as the top players have made more money when prices for players rose while Jerry was dinking around during contract talks. Also Jerry has had bad habit of making back handed insults about players to the media during contract talks.

I agree - Jerry's feet dragging ends up costing him more money . . .
and his comments the other day were ridiculous. he continues to get more senile every year . . .
