2025 Badger Football Thread

I've said this before, Fick is recruiting like it's 2015. With NIL and easy transfers, you add too many kids will leave.
my guess is that he's under a buttload of pressure to bring in as many kids as possible, because we know that some of them are going to decommit. it's kind of "damned if you do and damned if you don't".

BREAKING: The #Badgers have landed three-star tight end Jack Janda.Had offers from Michigan, Oregon, Miami (FL), Illinois, Stanford, Indiana, Pittsburgh, Michigan State, and more.

I really want to get excited about the new Badgers, but in today's climate, who knows if they'll ever suit up for the Badgers.

Coach Fickell blamed failure of Dairy Raid on average to less than average quarterback play. Claims you need above average quarterback play to make the spread systems work. Wisconsin has only had one quarterback that I remember being able to watch that could run the spread. Seems like it was just A Bridge Too Far.

Maybe Fickell should have recruited better then if he needed better QB play

You're absolutely correct. But, we had what we thought were upgrades and then they got injured or didn't play up to what they were supposed to be. It just confounds me that we can't get a quarterback at Wisconsin. Hopefully one of our new guys are a step up.
