2024 NFL Season Thread

Yeah interest could be the called his agent and maybe did a zoom interview beyond that he's not turning down a DC job if offered which means one was never offered so he had no choice to stay in Denver or not have a job.

The Denver Broncos secondary will maintain a lot of continuity going into the 2025 season after defensive backs coach Jim Leonhard elected to remain with the team despite receiving interest from at least three NFL teams to become their defensive coordinator, according to NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport

Remember when Za'Darius Smith made up a Captain necklace after his teammates in GB did not vote him a team captain?

Well look what he did again.

Should’ve known there was something wrong with him when the Ravens let him go for nothing.

Saints helped cover up church sexual abuse. Saints now trying to act like they did nothing wrong and putting blame on media for how they reported it.

NFL should do like the NBA did to Sterling and force the owners to have to sell the team.

i doubt we have anything the browns would want other than draft picks - which we desperately need right now. which is not to say that i wouldn't want him on our team. i just can't see gute doing what it takes to get a 4x 1st team all-pro and 2023 defensive player of the year signed.

He did it with Khalil Mack, he offered the same package as Chicago and Oakland chose Chicago because they assumed the picks would be higher. Packers have plenty of capacity for cash out the door, Love’s contract was taken care of last year (i’m assuming a contract adjustment with any trade).

Though the Raiders were shopping Mack. The Browns are not shopping Garrett. Will the Browns listen to offers? Sure if a team blows them out of the water like maybe starting at 2 1st round picks and some other picks and players then they consider it. Gute's not going to give away the farm then pay Garrett a huge contract.

Gute gave Aaron Rodgers the biggest contract in NFL history a year before getting rid of him. I don’t know if he will pull it off but it’s not outside the realm of possibility and Garrett is the type of player you move mountains for
