@RobDemovsky
I’m no expert on offensive line play but it sure looks like Elgton Jenkins is doing the footwork of a right tackle.

2022 Training Camp Update: August 14th

General:

  • Packers signed K Ramiz Ahmed and released Gabe Brkik (injury settlement).
Injuries: OL David Bakhtiari (PUP-knee), K Mason Crosby (PUP-knee), RB Kylin Hill (PUP-knee)

Not Practicing / Limited: WR Malik Taylor (shoulder), OL Cole Schneider (ankle), RB Patrick Taylor (groin), Darnell Savage (hamstring), Donte Vaughn (hamstring), TE Dominique Dafney (knee), S Dallin Leavitt (shoulder), OLB Tipa Galeai (elbow) WR Juwann Winfree (groin), DL Akial Byers (toe), OLB Tariq Carpenter (knee), OL Elgton Jenkins (knee), TE Robert Tonyan (knee), WR Christian Watson (knee), Innes Gaines (?)

Offense:

  • Jenkins, Tonyan and Watson are all off pup today but limited to individual drills.
  • Cole Schneider is out of his walking boot and out working with the rehab group
  • Innis Gaines, Kylin Hill, Donte Vaughn, Darnell Savage, Bakh all working w/ rehab group.
  • Randall Cobb also back at practice today.
  • Slick pass and fingertip grab by Big Dog vs Campbell’s coverage on short route in 11-on-11. First units taking bulk of team reps today.
  • 1st OL Yosh - Runyan - Myers - Hanson - Newman
  • Zach Tom getting some work at left guard
  • Samori Toure finds some nice separation on an intermediate crossing route. Love underthrows it a bit but Toure adjusts for a sliding catch. Nixon in coverage.
  • Rodgers hits Lazard over the middle then Cobb over the middle for nice gains. Offense running up tempo right now.
  • Allen Lazard and Romeo Doubs the two WRs on the field for a look in 21 personnel during team period.
  • AJ Dillon with a nifty, one-handed catch on a bubble pass from Aaron Rodgers thrown behind him. Turned to adjust, and the back just stuck in his left hand. He wasn’t supposed to make those kinds of plays out of Boston College. Impressive.
  • A collision between Dillon and Quay. Nothing malicious, just two players going hard. Lazard didn’t seem too happy with the play by 7 tho. Alexander backed up his man.
  • Rodgers is dealing over the middle - hits Tyler Davis in stride.
  • Marcedes Lewis is the tight end professor of pass pro. He’s giving Tonyan some tips on the sideline.
  • Zach Tom at LG instead of Jon Runyan for 2-minute drill.
  • Samori Toure in with the 1s for two-minute drill, and he bites on Rodgers’ hard count for a false start.
  • Enagabare with a key pressure on 4th down against Newman but Rodgers fades away and throws up a prayer that Aaron Jones answers as he skies over Stokes for a massive, clutch catch. Looked like Stokes tried to rip it from him on the way down. Wow play from Jones. Whole offense explodes in celebration.
  • (looks like Elgton Jenkins might be gearing up for playing RT based on his work in individuals)
Defense:

  • Devonte Wyatt back practicing.
  • Akial Byers off to the side in a walking boot.
  • Vernon Scott w 1s at safety.
  • Another practice - another pressure by Rashan Gary, working over Royce Newman.
  • Man these linebackers are fasssstttt. De’Vondre all over an outside run by Jones. Been the same thing all camp with Campbell & Quay flying to the sidelines.
  • Not just outside - Campbell stuffs a Dillon run inside too. Campbell has had a GREAT camp.
  • Nice cut by Jones. Doesn’t matter - Clark eats it up inside.
  • Rodgers just had to kill a throw in two minute cuz Gary blew it up. Quarterback playfully grabs his horse collar afterward.
  • Enagbare with a nice pass rush vs Royce Newman for a pressure/sack - but Amari Rodgers did a nice job on the scramble drill to find space for Aaron Rodgers to find him down field.
  • Nice coverage by Vernon Scott in the back of the end zone on Allen Lazard.
  • Rodgers gets Ramsey to jump on his 3rd hard count to keep the 2 min drill alive, Douglas picked off the free play.
  • Romeo Doubs comes up with a ridiculous catch but well out of bounds on the 2pt attempt and the defense explodes in celebration, mocking the offenses celebration. Douglas in coverage.
Special Teams:

  • new kicker appears to have hit from 33 and 40.

Practice has ended

Next Event:
Joint Practice with Saints, August 16th

Media:

Interviews:

LaFleur
Presser:

  • LaFleur says today's practice will be dedicated to the guys who didn't play in the game Friday
  • LaFleur said that WR Amari Rodgers made some good plays, but he said there was a lot to clean up, then said there was a lot to clean up overall, especially with some of the blocking from the receivers.
  • LaFleur happy with the pass protection vs. 49ers.
  • LaFleur says safety Dallin Leavitt (shoulder) "will be out a while." Nothing else "too terribly long."
  • Matt LaFleur says Elgton Jenkins, Robert Tonyan and Christian Watson will all be back today. "It's the next step in the process. It's not like they'll be out there in team drills. They'll do individuals...and some walkthroughs."
  • Matt LaFleur being very cagey about where Elgton Jenkins is going to play, “I don’t want to commit to tight end, I don’t know.”
  • LaFleur said Brkic sustained a hamstring injury in pregame warmups at San Fran on Friday night, So an injury settlement could be in the works.

So is it me or does it seem Watkins is not doing much since there are never really and blurbs of him doing anything in the daily camp updates?

I haven’t seen any reports that Sean Rhyan was hurt against SF.
Does that mean he’s ok and still practicing?

2022 Training Camp Update: August 15th

General:

  • No pads, just a jog-through today so not many actual updates/
  • The Packers released OLB Randy Ramsey.
Injuries: OL David Bakhtiari (PUP-knee), K Mason Crosby (PUP-knee), RB Kylin Hill (PUP-knee)

Not Practicing / Limited: OL Cole Schneider (ankle), RB Patrick Taylor (groin), Darnell Savage (hamstring), Donte Vaughn (hamstring), S Dallin Leavitt (shoulder), DL Akial Byers (toe), OLB Tariq Carpenter (knee), OL Elgton Jenkins (knee), TE Robert Tonyan (knee), WR Christian Watson (knee), Innes Gaines (?)

Offense:

  • WR Juwann Winfree (groin) is back at practice after missing yesterday.
  • TE Dominique Dafney (knee) is also back at practice.
  • 1st OL today: Nijman, Runyan, Myers, Newman, Jenkins.
  • Aaron Rodgers’ first two throws to rookie WR Christian Watson were deep balls, but don’t get too excited. It’s a jog through with no real coverage.
  • Rodgers rainbows a deep pass to Christian Watson in the endzone. Stokes stayed with him to emulate pressure. Just baby steps for the rookie in his second practice this camp, but good ones.
  • Next play, Rodgers hits Robert Tonyan in a tight window over the middle. QB slowly but surely working guys back in off PUP.
  • Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Robert Tonyan all on the field at the same time for jog-through reps with the starting offense during team period.
  • The master. Rodgers just threw a no look pass to Watson in a half speed period that would’ve hit me in the head if I was the receiver. Watson got it though.
  • Royce Newman takes a tumble during jog-through, and Jake Hanson takes exception. He gives a strong two-handed punch to the chest of OLB Kobe Jones, who gives one right back. Just getting warmed up for joint practices tomorrow.
Defense:

  • OLB Tipa Galeai (elbow) also back.
  • S Vernon Scott still starting with Savage out.
Special Teams:

  • Jordan Love is apparently the backup holder on FGs and PATs. He’s handling the duties today.

Practice is over.

Next Event:
Joint Practice with Saints, August 16th

Interviews:

LaFleur
Presser:

  • "We're just going to work through different combinations and create as much competition as possible." LaFleur on Zach Tom getting reps at LG with the 1s yesterday.
  • LaFleur on Jenkins/Tonyan/Watson returning to practice Sunday: "It definitely was a shot in the arm for our team. Even though it was just the jog-through period and individual, I thought they looked good."

he Green Bay Packers have released C Cole Schneider and CB Donte Vaughn. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Monday.

I know this is way, way, way early, but interesting to see all the noise George Pickens is making in Steelers camp already. He was linked to the Packers in the draft process, and I know he was polarizing on this board but bears watching how he does this year versus Watson and Doubs.
