2021-2022 Milwaukee Bucks

whatever defense he plays sure doesn't show up in the box score. no defensive rebounds, one steal, no blocks, not even a personal foul.
Stats can be misleading. Watch how he plays / switches on defense on the pick and pop. He’s a guard he not going to get blocks of ask to rebound. He’s probably the 2nd best guard on ball defense

It's too bad the Bucks couldn't capitalize on the opportunity against the Grizzlies to move into first place in the East. That home court advantage for them could be important. It seems like they just don't have it going for them.

Then, when you compare them to last year, you realize that they are two wins better at this point in the season than last year, but scads behind the previous two years. Last year, a championship. Those two years where almost unbeatable? Nothing to show for it.

It's going to be an interesting post season.

This year though they did not have Lopez for most of the year and had other injuries and covid to deal with. They have been doing ok for all they have went through.

for me, the worst part is that the grizzlies beat the bucks badly even though they didn't have their leading scorer ja morant. and the bucks had both giannis and middleton playing. that doesn't look too promising for post-season.

Gotta hit shots. 21% won’t win many. It’s one game out of 82.

As good as Giannis and Middleton are Holiday makes this team run on both sides of the ball.

As to the post season the game drastically changes to more half court sets and individual matchups. Brooklyn is scary good as is Philadelphia. The east will be a war

Bucks will get to 2nd round easy after that it's anyone's bet how far MKE goes.

This team actually is better constructed for a playoff run this year.

Giannis/ Middleton/ Holiday/ Lopez/ Allen

All 5 can score and play above average defense

Ibaka / Carter / Connaughton/ Portis / Hill

Carter is this years Tucker, maybe not as good defensively but above average and his scoring is a bonus, We all know what Portis and Connaughton bring and Ibaka gives a vet presence on defense.

You can play 2 of the 3 “big 3” and still have a solid 5 with the depth. Matchup wise, Brooklyn and Philadelphia are the biggest issues.

right now there are four teams in the east that are within a half game of each other at the top of the standings. philadelphia, miami, boston and milwaukee. of those four, boston is the hottest (9-1 over their last ten games). brooklyn is a team that is barely over .500 (39-35).

Brooklyn had Kyrie and Durant both out for extended periods which explains much of the record. Milwaukee, Philadelphia and Brooklyn are all 7 out of their last 10.

I think the East is very equal and I don't see any dominate team in the East.
