brewers offense

I couldn't hit a curve either. When I got a shot at a contract, I was drilling fast balls over the fence faster than they came in.
The minute they started throwing curves, I ended up screwing myself into the ground trying to hit the damned things.

The people at my tryout said; "If you learn to hit a curve ball, come back and see us kid." To an 18 year old kid, that's like a kick in the gut!
So they made the movie Major League characther Cerrano after you? I can no hit a curve ball. Straight ball, I hit very much. Curve ball, bats are afraid.

With an 80 MPH fastball, a good breaking ball can get you off the hook. I know it would have made me look like a fool.
Unfortunately in hung my share of breaking balls which was ...well not good

How bad is this Brewers team? Next year they already have a payroll of like $55 million committed with just 7 players who have set salaries for next year and a ton of guys who will be facing pre-arb or in arb.

Let me say it again. If Yelich and Huira hit even close to 2019 this team makes the playoffs. Is it a top 10-15 in league type probably not. But the more I think about it nothing in 2020 is a true representative of the roster. It’s 60 games, no real spring camp

Still this team lacks talent you can see for next year. Even if Yelich returns to MVP level Huira has been meh and everyone else are JAG's on the bench. Woodruff and Burnes are good starters but really nothing much else there. The BP is ok will say that but if you can't give any runs for the pitchers to protect they do you no good.

And like it’s not a top 10-15 team that’s not breaking news but if Yelich and Huira hit they can contend for a WC, not saying they are a favorite but in 162 game season it’s about an 85 win team

Probably but a 85 win team won't get you a WC either in a normal season WC is probably a 90+ win team.

I said contend the way they are constructed now. 89 did the trick last year. I’m not a fan of the FO but it it what it is

Brewers offense has come awoke just enough to be giving enough run support to the pitching that MKE is having a nice little run here over the last 2-3 weeks. If they can keep this up and give them 3-5 runs a game most nights that will keep them in to win most games with how well the pitching is.

Looked it up Brewers right now have the lowest BA in MLB. How in the world can such a bad offense be in the running for 1st place in the division.
