And since he couldn’t control GB he’d squeeze them out of business like he has done to K-Mart, Sears, and Penney’s (just to name a few)It's one of those things that they'll have to test if the time comes. It is an interesting point. Bezos could buy the entire NFL with the money he has. Of course, GB would be the lone team not his.
Of course we could always go to the Packer HOF to remember the good old days.

Not sure on Prime expansion, saw some numbers that 62% of HH are Prime members or like over 100 million.would there be some sure but not enough to make up the rights fee which will probably be close to $2B per year

The ones that are LLC's with other assets/holdings - the teams are run independently and the financials are not co-mingled with other business. What other holdings an owner is not important. What's in those books is none of our business relative to the discussion around profit/loss of the NFL teams.Trust me they will take it anyway. well when owners scream poverty during CBA negotiations it matters, and it matter when a team gets a revenue sharing check for $295m with a salary cap of what $198m it matters. Sure team technically are run independent but when an organization like Atlanta, AMB Sports & Entertainment is the umbrella for NFL, MLS and Mercedes Benz stadium its one bottom line number

The one clinker in the NFL veil of secrecy surrounding opening their books is the Packers. With all the financial details of our operation being common knowledge through public disclosure, pretty much anyone can size up the scope of other operations in the league.
It may not be even close to 100% accurate doing so, but it's a bellwether of what they might find behind the facades of other teams. It's just a matter of extrapolation of potential from their off field enterprises, which shouldn't deal at all with salary cap issues, in my opinion. The scope of the players contracts should be based on that which deals directly with the game, including a split of team and name usage rights for games, etc, as agreed upon between the league and players association.
Anyhow, that's what I see. I didn't mention what I believe should be done for the veterans. There should be fully funded lifetime insurance, and it should be considered as deductible from their contracts when signed. It should be a 50/50 split, and include all players from the past as well. To me, this is a no-brainer.

Where GB is limited is local revenue compared to other organizations. I still think it’s in the upper half of the league but it’s not on par with Dallas, Houston or other large market clubs. Another things is many clubs separate their local media rights as a separate company, Dallas for instance is Blue Star Media and if you want to sponsor the Cheerleaders is also a separate deal aside from the team. Lot of ways to move cash around

I wonder how teams do their cost accounting when it comes to applying a line item to something that they charge against that $295M?

It's amazing how many ventures away from football these teams have. I'd imagine they have to separate the two entities for various reasons, including their avowed secrecy. As for Jerry Jones, his off field empire is bigger than most people would even guess.
