Miller Park will be officially known as.......

Not upset about it in the least. I think myself and a lot of people will call it Miller Park, just out of habit, but who cares.

I wonder what they'll do about that stretch of road/freeway now known at Miller Park Way. Assume they'll change the name and the freeway signs. American Family Way?

There are actually a bunch of businesses/restaurants that use "Miller Park Way" as their address. Can't imagine they'd be too happy to have to make that change, but can you really keep the road with that name. It's like Miller gets free exposure.

Probably time to change the name to something generic like "Stadium View Drive". If the naming rights change again in the coming years, you'd have to rename the road each time. That's costly and annoying for those businesses each time you do it. Already some discussion about it.

AmFam, Miller, who cares? It's still the home of the Milwaukee Brewers, and they play baseball. The vanity rights as to who's name appears on the outside of the park is of no value, except added income to offset expenses, for the team, and the venue.

I get the fan reaction to this but to me it’s meh. Business side is different, more team revenue but minimal and for AmFam more brand exposure, State Farm has really made a move in this space. And the Miller brand has drastically changed. The business of sports

Companies move their advertising bucks to areas that they believe will give them the most bang for their buck. Then there's the competitive pricing. The bean counters make their position known on it, and then the guys who are overpaid make the final choice.

I wonder if Miller feels they were kind of "jilted" for a better looking guy down the road? Sometimes that can destroy a relationship. Maybe Miller will direct it's focus elsewhere, to maybe the Bucks, or even the Packers? Maybe completely out of the sports market for the time being, or on to another team, in another area?

Miller is not even the corporate brand name anymore it’s Molson Coors. Miller had the chance match the deal and they turned it down. And let’s look at it, it was only $2m per year, AmFam doubled and even at $4m per year it’s on the low end of deals. Personally I think Miller is glad this is done, it’s not the new brand and they still have a vending deal there

I don't care who the parent owner is. The brand name is still Miller. They weren't pushing Molson or Coors, just Miller. That's my beer, and it will be, until they change how it's brewed.
