Is Rodgers Responsible for Team Woes?

I still believe the day that McCarthy lost Rodgers was the day the Packers watched Jordy Nelson sign with the Raiders. People can say anything they want, but they were joined at the hip in their journey as Packers.

People can argue this point any way they want, but Nelson was his safety net, who knew how to work back to the ball, and the guy that Rodgers trusted to be where he was supposed to be.

So, why didn't the Packers at least offer Nelson a minimum contract? You can rag on him being washed up, anything you want, but the reality was, they were separating Nelson and Rodgers to show that McCarthy was running the team, and that's the way it was. Some of us indicated that was the case when it happened, and said it would end up destroying the working relationship between Rodgers and McCarthy.

Guess what? It did. Disagree if you'd like, it doesn't matter. Some of us could see it from the start, and warned where it was going.

You believe in chem trails and the earth is flat to, don't you? Both are almost as ridiculous as thinking they separated Nelson and Rodgers to show Rodgers who was boss. This line of thinking is nothing more than somebody who had a man crish on Nelson and is jilted he is gone. and refuses to see his skills have dropped way off the last couple years in GB as well and it showed in Oakland this year to.

They made the right call in letting him go, he is going downhill and age is not on his side. Always better to get rid of players a year to early than too late. Letting him go have nothing at all to do with sticking it to Rodgers or trying to show him who the boss is or was.

You're entitled to your opinion. It's not worth much to me, but you're entitled to it. What isn't acceptable is your constant insults. You need to learn to play better with people.

There were no insults..... its more like you cant handle being disagreed with. I get ripped on all the time for my opinions, gotta have thick skin, or turn the other cheek if you cant handle it, I learned that a long time ago.

Guess how many GB Packer WR had better stats this year than Jordy? 1, and that was Adams.

Jordy had more TDs than any other GB WR not named Adams as well.

Jordy had more FD catches than any other GB WR not named Adams as well....

So if Jordy was that bad, then the packer wide recievers outside Adams must really really suck donkey balls if they can't even outproduce a washed up poor WR such as Nelson. IN which case we should cut them all and start over because they obviously have no talent. And Jordy didn't even have a future HOF throwing to him.

Oh and who was the leading reciever for OAK this year? Jared Cook.. Showing yet another player GB let go and who went on to have a good year. Cook has an outside shot at a 1000 yard recieving year.

Sounds like Gruden fashioned an offense around a 3rd string WR and a cut rate TE...hence the 4 -11 mark

If you haven't noticed, GB didn't do much better.... But the point still remains. Nelson, on a worse offense with a worse QB out performed all but 1 Green Bay Packer WR.
