2024 NFL Season Thread

Down go the Lions. All that hype just to come up small.

Say what you want about how poorly GB's offense and Jordan Love did, of the NFCN playoff teams, I think GB is in the best and most stable position going forward. Unlikely to have major coaching departures, they will choose their roster turnover and not have it forced upon them.

Common denominator in these games has been that for the winning teams, OL protection has been really, really good. Every line will give up some sacks but Daniels wasn't touched yesterday. Mahomes was kept clean when he needed to be.

GB needs to push the boundaries on building their OL.

this is probably not the correct place for this discussion, but i would love to hear opinions on which members of our starting o-line need to be replaced, and which ones are worthy of staying in their current roles. for example, i thought zach tom played very well at right tackle - up until the playoff game against philly.

I posted that very question i think in the Bears thread. I thought the responses were interesting in that some people saw the OL as a whole (the line is good/bad), while others looked at certain players. Not sure what’s right, and it’s hard to judge when your best players have bad days. I don’t remember Josh Sitton have bad days, for example. So maybe it’s about consistency as well as talent.

Walker and Myers are JAG. Rhyan had ups and downs but seems like me maybe could develop into a RG would give him next season to see.
