2024 NFL Season Thread

Yes GB does have a reason to be snotty, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a team pop champagne corks to celebrate a regular season game that didn’t mean anything at all except beating an opponent. There was no playoff appearance on the line for either team. It’s bizarre, especially considering how they came out after that and crapped the bed two weeks in a row. It was their super bowl, the high point of their season.

Was it though? Before the season their win over/under I think was around 6. No one thought they would be this good. I think they way outplayed expectations and it wasn't a fluke, they were legit good. But I didn't realize how short term their roster was. Kinda like the 2017 Eagles, hoping to ride a bunch of short term rentals and a red hot backup QB to a title.

It'll definitely be interesting to see how that roster looks next year and if they can replicate what they did this year. I mean, having another 14 win season may be a bit much, but will they slide at all or if so, how much?

Here’s some additional context to their roster building. They traded their 2,3,4 round picks to move up and draft Dallas Turner, and 6,7 round to Cleveland as part of the Zadarius Smith trade.
