Post-game: GB Beats The Rams 20-3

Defense played decent today but our WR are still trash

Crazy Love threw a pass to 9 different people today with 8 of them catching at least one pass. That is at least something I give credit to Love for he will spread it around look for open guy. Rodgers had to much focus to go to only a couple guys the whole game.

How bad is it that GB might not even get a WR to have 700 or 800 yards this year.

Miller curse for Packers? Miller advertises the Packers score 21 or more you get a BOGO on Miller. 6 games in a row GB has failed to get to 21 or more so maybe it's Millers fault for putting that out. LOL

Sure looks like Jones is finally fully over his hamstring getting 24 touches today I don't think he comes close to that if he had any issue still.

Was listening to the game in the car. Seems like a sloppy start with penalties etc, I was also confused as to why Rhyan came in and played well and then they benched him. I don’t get the stubborn commitment to Runyan.

Overall though it seemed like the whole team had some juice and just less tight. They’ve played down to worse competition before, so I’ll take it as a W that they held a team to 3 pts. Was glad they hit one to Watson as well and the TD pass to Musgrave was a really nice play design. ML needs to get in his bag a bit more with these plays, they should be hitting 1-3 of them per game. If they actually had done that in previous games they’d be 5-3 not 3-5. Gonna watch the game and see if it matched the radio call.

p.s. what a pleasure to have Larivee on the call, puts the TV guys to shame

Nice to see a win for these young guys. Still a lot of frustrating moments but this team needed a win to keep a positive attitude.

Some positives: Jones staying healthy and producing. Love having a solid day against a solid defense. The defense doing what it needed against a short-handed Rams offense. Looks like they have a nice find in Valentine at CB - hopefully he makes the Douglas trade look like a smart move. We had a Sean Rhyan sighting and he didn't look awful, though it was in very limited snaps.

Negatives were: Still not nearly prolific enough on offense to beat the good teams left on the schedule. Dumb mistakes and penalties continue to plague this young team - too many to be a winning team. Still not seeing enough from the WR group to rule out adding one high in the upcoming draft or via free agency.

It was important for them to get a win before hitting the toughest part of the schedule. The Chargers at home seems like the best chance for a win in the next 4 games.
