Got him on a cheap contract. Let him continue to develop. Rodgers sat too, remember? Let's see how it shakes out.
 
Though Rodgers now should break the longest time spent with one team. Big Ben retired with 18 years with Pitt so unless Rodgers retires after next year or does a Brady he will have the longest time with one team.

It was a rookie GM mistake giving up a pick to trade up for a QB probably could have got in Rd 2. And the dominos that fell afterwards between FO and AR.

Agreed. Aaron's contract is probably "cap friendly," because the numbers are back loaded those last two years. And oh yeah, he's gonna be 40.
 
So Packers win SB next year does Rodgers say screw it I am out after 1 year?
