yeah, right. that's the reason.

fwiw, a couple people whose opinion i really respect on this forum have said multiple times that there is nothing special about aaron jones as a running back, and we could find one just as good in the later rounds of the draft. and yet the packers paid him like he's a top tier running back when we could use as much cap room as possible.

I agree with this. I would have rather spent the money on resiging Linsley over Jones. Harder to replace an all-pro OC then a RB.

We overspent. This was about the organization overvaluing our own and not let the market dictate it. You keep him only if the value matches the production
