2 or 3 offseason moves could give.....

Atlanta Falcons will reportedly release NT Paul Soliai at the start of new league year as a cap/bad scheme fit -move.

Soliai is another rock - 6'4' / 345 immovable object. He joins Damon "Snacks" Harrison, Terrance "Pot Roast" Knighton and several others in a deep run-stuffer only UFA class. If we wanted that kind of a player, they should come unusually cheap this year, especially considering the good DT draft class.

The problem (apart from 32 years of age) is that Soliai and his kinda guys provide absolutely zero pass rush, and are a bad fit for a D scheme that aims to push the pocket at all positions. For us, Soliai would likely play only base 3-4 1-tech and in goal line D -> Since we play mostly nickel, he wouldn't see the field much.

lol. every year somebody starts a rumor or talks about hidden meanings in off-the-cuff remarks indicating that this is the year that the packers finally become players in free agency. fool me once . . .
