So without knowing what pieces TT/MM add what needs to be done to get this team back to the SB. Every opinion matters here so let's fill the thread with your ideas !

Defense lots of it. We need a better pass rush along with a starting CB that can eliminate the other teams #1 WR threat. But most of all that smoke and mirrors 1982 defensive scheme has to go.

Offensively MM has to establish the run and not let Rodgers audible into pass pass pass all the time. Once he gets that way the other team always pins their ears back and we get in trouble.

In no order:

A good, healthy three down RB
Quality secondary play from the DBs. Need two quality CBs IMO.
ILB/OLB
A quality TE
An nfl caliber punter

I think everything on that list is need in order to win the SB except for perhaps the RB. However, I still feel like we need a better backfield than what we have.

Obviously, I don't think we'll be able to add all that in the off-season, which is why as you guys probably know, I don't consider us a real SB contending team and haven't for a few years. The window is almost slammed shut IMHO.

We need a training staff that can keep our players healthy.

Secondarily, draft an OLB who can get to the QB. And a CB or two.

Thirdly, compel Aaron to get with the program, hit the open guy and not go off script with his sandlot bullshit. No reason we have to go 4-6 before we start "really trying." That forces guys to play hurt, and gets them hurt worse instead of letting them sit down and heal up for the playoffs.

Do what Denver did go all in for a few year run at a SB. 3-4 years Rodgers would be at tail end of career so at that time you either let him walk as a FA or trade him to start a rebuild process.

1. Stabilize the base talent level of D. Can't have gaping holes, every player needs to be capable of executing the D competently, of 'doing their job,' to borrow the trendy phrase.

2. Find a legit playmaker on D. A ball hawk, a consistent pass rusher, a sideline to sideline LB. Someone who can make those 1-2 difference making plays.

3. No drop off on OL. It's been good the past number of years, can't reset again.

4. Find a 3 down RB without an addiction to Chinese food

5. Another TE with some speed and athleticism

Theyre not as far as the ATL blowout would suggest, but not going to get over the top either.

1- Health, can't be taught-only hoped for.
2- We're not going to sign a #1 CB. There are only two in the draft IMO, Lattimore and Jones. We do need help though.
Randall and Rollins should be better and drafting one early should help.
3- I know everyone wants an edge player, but we've been missing the push up the middle. That's where our lone FA from outside the organization comes in- Jonathan Hankins DT. Along with resigning Nick Perry I think we should be okay.
4- Draft Curtis Samuel in the 2nd round. He's a burner from Ohio State who could give us snaps at WR and RB, plus provide some juice in the return game. He is a 'package' player who would flatter MMs style of playcalling.
5- 3rd round Edge rusher for competition.

The last two NFC Super Bowl representatives were because they were healthier than their opponents. Atlanta will come back to the pack just like the Panthers did. IMO.

Where to start..
1) A new "win" philosophy/mindset from BOD on down. Enough of this "good enough cause we make money, win a bad division, and we have extra cap space".... Gb consistently targets the division title as it's main focus. Which wins you a division title and that's about it.

2) Accountability. Especially from position coaches and the guys with big salaries. From MM as well. Coaching from top to bottom needs to evolve or be held to account.

3) Making it a goal to be one of the youngest teams in the league year after year is a great way to never make it to the next level.

4)The fact GB starts and has so many UDFA on it's roster should be a source of embarrassment not pride.

5) Use every avenue at your disposal to make the team better. (pre draft visits, FA etc...)

6) Streamline management. The below quote should set off alarm bells to anyone who has studied business management. You should never be creating a title just to keep someone around. You look for the need, create the position and then find someone to fill it. His position is essentially bloat.

“Try to call it what it is,” McCarthy said. “That’s what I always struggle with. … What’s his job now? What does he do? You’re always trying to give guys more to do, but they can’t be changing your title every time a guy gets another responsibility.

“Russ (Ball, vice president of football administration/player finance) and I went round and round and round on what that position is, and we were like, 'let’s just call it what he does.' He’s going to be working with everyone on the perimeter.”

There you go unless the Packers address those things it really doesn't matter who they draft or keep. Because the organization doesn't have the right mindset or structure to go all the way.

1) purchase tickets
2) make hotel reservations
3) book flight
