i don't disagree, but when the head coach encourages veteran players not to attend, should fans be upset when they don't?
No, I'm not upset with them, just disappointed. Just because ML said they could skip attending in person, that doesn't mean they should.

I can see Vets who have safe jobs on the team but some of these vets don't Heck Garvin was a rookie last year there is no way in hell he should be skipping OTAs.
 
Thing is NFLPA encourages players to be lazy and not show up for OTA's but then bitch when players get hurt and teams cut them.
 
In what Combine type drills? No pad, in shorts. It’s more acclimating than anything else
More practice time you get more you willing are to commit it all can make a impression on coaches when it comes down to cut down time.

That’s if you even consider it practice. You make the impressions with pads on and pre season. Perfect example is RB’s all they do is wheel routes. To me this is a big non issue

I am probably making big deal more then it is but I just want to see these bubble guys having more a commitment to their jobs.
