We are thin at safety. Nelson out for the year really hurts. He has been a real competitor since he joined the Badgers. We're going to see how well the kids Leonhard has been given have been "coached up" to contribute. I'm anxious to see how it plays out at both safety and on the defensive line. Also, without Zander at TE, we need to see someone step in and fill that gap.

This is one of those years where we end up a shade on the light side in talent at a few positions, mostly due to key injuries. The targeting disqualifications will end at halftime, and that will be helpful.
 
Hopefully the injuries won't affect the game too much. I'm leaving in 10 minutes for Madison. Hoping for a solid win.
