After three weeks of getting to know this team, it is time to finally find out exactly how far the 2016 Wisconsin Badgers football program can go. That all starts with the Big Ten opener this weekend in East Lansing.

Check out our full preview here:

Rest of Staff Picks for Badgers vs. MSU:

Nate (2-1): Michigan State 24-17

I still don’t know what to think of this team following last week’s performance. My guess is the Badgers will be able to hang tough for awhile, but Sparty will hang on for the home win.

Rayan (2-1): Michigan State 24- 14

Winning against this Michigan State team on the road would have been very difficult with a fully healthy team. The Badgers aren’t going to have a deplete offensive line, no Rafael Gaglianone, and a less than 100% Corey Clement. Not to mention, Alex Hornibrook, a redshirt freshman, will be making his first career start. That is a recipe for a disaster. Wisconsin’s defense will keep them in it, but it will require a small miracle to actually win.
