All 19 scholarships the Wisconsin Badgers had to offer in the 2019 recruiting class have been spoken for. Early National Signing Day was yesterday and everyone chose to put pen to paper and faxing actual Letters of Intent in. Previous Positions: QB | DE | RB | CB |WR | DT | But, we aren’t done breaking down the class and we continue our journey through the 2019 Badgers recruits today.

Actually have to fax LOI in still? Is this the 1990s? Can't sign it digital or scan and email?

Yep. There was a story last year about some kid whose recruitment became wide open because nobody at the school could figure out how to get the fax machine to work in time for his letter to get in.

I don't remember if he eventually signed with the same school or got flipped somewhere else.

I know Alabama does not use a fax

The faxing is probably optional though probably the easiest for most schools. It's the quickest. Probably takes as long or longer to scan and e-mail. I don't think the signing part will go away anytime soon. Putting pen to paper is kind of symbolic and makes a nice photo-op. Putting finger to tablet - meh, not so much.
