Larry McCarren highlighted Doubs in todays “3 Things” video with Spoff and Hod.Romeo Doubs. I think his roughly 4.5 forty wasn't near his best. He'd had a leg injury, and was just healed well enough to run. He hadn't fully recovered. I think he drops that under 4.4, and ends up being a potential return man, as well as a decent possession receiver fairly quickly, if that's the direction they choose to use him.
I realize this is a long shot, but this kid seems like the type that wants it pretty darned bad, and sometimes that's the difference between getting on the field, and sitting on the bench until you're cut.
and he had another standout play today on a 29 yard back-shoulder catch. i would say that he has a better chance of contributing early than watson, who has already dropped 6 passes in four days of practice..Larry McCarren highlighted Doubs in todays “3 Things” video with Spoff and Hod.
He said Doubs really stood out.
Good choice TW
Wow, who is tracking that stuff right now?and he had another standout play today on a 29 yard back-shoulder catch. i would say that he has a better chance of contributing early than watson, who has already dropped 6 passes in four days of practice..

MVS came out of the 5th, he caught 38 balls for 581 yards and 2TDs, so that’s the number to beat.I'm a Doubs fan as well. Not sure he'll be the most productive rookie, but I think he might be the biggest surprise in terms of how much production you get from a 4th Rd pick. He could factor in as the #4 WR. Heard a report from OTA's that said he was also doing a nice job of fielding punts. That might be a role for him as well.
The other guy who might surprise is Sean Rhyan, I feel like there's a chance he could start some games this year or be one of the first guys off the bench if there are injuries on the o-line.
Doubs is pretty good for a 4th rounder. Remember, a lot of guys sat out that Covid year, so there was a larger draft class this year.MVS came out of the 5th, he caught 38 balls for 581 yards and 2TDs, so that’s the number to beat.
Right now we don't know if he will be good or bad none of the rookies have to give them 3 years. Doubs right now I think this year will mainly be a ST guy and allowed to develop for a year before being asked to be more then maybe the 4th or 5th WR on the team.Doubs is pretty good for a 4th rounder.
