I won't drop my analysis from the other thread here, but this piece says USCHO's math indicates Wisconsin still has a 48.4% chance of moving up to 8th, and is solidly in the 2-seed/3-seed group of teams.

Keep it up buddy, you're converting me - slowly and cautiously
Here we go, USCHO has us locked in as the #8 overall. We're a 2 seed, and only thing left to do is figure out where we're going since it looks like Omaha is also in the field. Omaha automatically goes to the Sioux Falls regional as host, but I think as a 3 or even 4 seed (if they lose today).

What more complicates things is USCHOs math shows both NoDak and Minnesota locked in the 2 line as well. As both are currently higher, they'll get the closer draw. So I think we are going out East, and as the 8 we get to be the 2 seed in BC's region.
