McCarthy says Jamaal Williams (ankle) will be limited in practice. Devante Mays (hamstring) is still out, per McCarthy. Mays has been hurt for multiple weeks. His chance of making the 53 seems slim at this point.

McCarthy says the #Packers have this week and next week to iron out roster decisions. An important part of that, he says, is giving backups a chance to play multiple positions and assess their flexibility.

First-string offensive line at practice today: Bakhtiari, Taylor, Linsley, Bell, Bulaga

DE Mike Daniels (quad) is taking team reps today. He hasn’t done that in a while.

RB Aaron Jones is taking team reps with the first-string offense. Looks like the hamstring injury is behind him. Coaches would like to get him some reps against the #Raiders later this week.

Jermaine Whitehead right back into the starting defense as a slot corner in sub packages. He was dealing with a back injury

JK Scott punted six times with the wind at his back. For distance from the 30-yard line: 46 yards, 4.72 seconds 59, 4.62 64, 4.81 45, 4.28 For placement from midfield: 41 yards to the 9, 4.41 48 yards to the 2, 4.44

WR J’Mon Moore with an unfortunate slip as he broke toward the sideline. Allowed for an easy interception by CB Donatello Brown on a ball thrown by DeShone Kizer.

CB Davon House (hamstring) didn’t practice today. He was on the field for walk throughs and then went inside for some rehab with the medical staff.

Day 13 is in the books: 1 hour, 28 minutes

Moore cannot make this team unless he has a great preseason game this week. He has talent but hands are a huge issue.
I think they should keep 8 WRs until week 2. They can evaluate Moore for another 2 weeks then. When Jones is back they can cut someone.

You don't throw out a 4th round pick just because he's pressing too hard, imo. Dude is getting separation. I remember when Jordy went through that phase with drops, James Jones too. Hell, I remember when Driver was dropping third down balls. Started calling him DriveKILLer.

Davante
Cobb
Yancey
Jmon
EQ
Valdez-Scantling

Then you also got Graham and Monty as targets, don't forget about Aaron Jones either.

Each of those players mentioned went through a learning curve. They won't cut a higher pick.

This is a 4th round pick we are discussing. Not a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd. Players should not be kept just because they are a draft pick. Especially, if they are a 4th or lower. He has dropped 80 to 90% of the balls thrown to him in games. So you want him on the field? I don't.

Yancy was a 5th and was cut. I dont think its crazy to see moore cut and try to get him on the ps. His problem in college was drops also. He needs to clean this up or he isnt wroth a spot. I also think mvs and esb have more upside.

MM comments today: "It's important to keep your best 53 players. When you keep a guy who doesn't deserve to make the 53, that's a hard locker room to walk into."

Reading between the lines here, how do they cut Kumerow and keep Moore? Players - and particularly Rodgers - will know that's dogsh!t.

Adams, Cobb, Allison, Kumerow, MVS, ESB.

I think there's every chance that Moore makes it to the PS. He's not a physical freak, they haven't put him on starting special teams that I know. He seems to be something like Yancey actually.

I think out of your list switch Moore for Brown Brown has also run hot and cold and think he is a guy that won't get claimed and would make it to the PS.
