Most don't but I think Murphy cares about what people think of him and does not want to be the bad guy. Try to put it all on Rodgers if Rodgers wants out.

Doesn't he? I think he knows well, as do all the team owners, that people can piss and moan and complain about everything under the sun, they still watch. Fans can complain about Rodgers and Murphy and who looks better and who does PR better all they want in March and April. Come September no one will care. People still show for games, they still tune in.

Covered his own butt for what? Creating the millions of extra dollars on the amusement park?

Murphy may be/act like Alfred E Newman at times, but he took the responsibility onto himself when they hired Matt. He didn't have to do that. And you know what? That hire worked out pretty well.

Let him sit in the corner and sob like a little girl if he wants. He's not walking away for free. I wonder what the Jets would give for him. Maybe he'd like to spend time in Jacksonville.
