To be honest Mark, that's exactly how I've been taking it for the past decade or so. It's sports entertainment to me anymore. Sure, I have favorite players and still love the Green Bay Packers but something changed in me the last 10-15 years. It just doesn't seem to be the same anymore. I have come to enjoy it more though because of how I view it these days. As Pack always says, "It's put years back on my life".And why more and more people are dumping pro sports.... it's become the WWE. Just saying.
Yeah but he brings the deal to players convinced them to vote for itYou’re not understanding his role. It’s as an advisor. The players hold the power. Same on the other side. Goodell is basically a figurehead. The owners hold the cards.
Well only way to at some point get fully guaranteed deals is to start small with 2 year ones.99% your not getting it. Push all you want but the teams leverage is to prorate for 5 years.

Last year I think more people have cut out sports then everTo be honest Mark, that's exactly how I've been taking it for the past decade or so. It's sports entertainment to me anymore. This to me is a very interesting discussion since it hits so many touch points. It’s about how we have changed our viewing habits, to so extent our social habits, going to a bar to watch a game. Even attending a game. Years ago I looked forward to a road trip to NOLA or Dallas or Tampa or Miami to watch a game. Now not so much. I’ve been to 1 Falcons game in the last 5 years, 2 Braves games. Part of that is i got burned out from corporate travel in wanted for stay home. I remember being in Miami going to Heat playoff game and board as hell.To be honest Mark, that's exactly how I've been taking it for the past decade or so. It's sports entertainment to me anymore.
