Meaning they were smart enough to take him when the other teams passed on him. It was a joke PackWhy does that matter?
Perfect!Hey if Selleck gets old there is always reverse mortgages
Would love to hear that answer but I would expect Team Murphy to stick to their narrative.Oh I don’t think we’re even close to Ari Fleisher level crap, but it’s just very frustrating that the org keeps repeating a statement that, while acceptable previously, now not only warrants but demands further clarification and specificity. It would be nice if someone asked them if they are open to Rodgers being QB in 2022, and just press until you get a yes or no.
The HC has a say in that too.I keep thinking how everyone from Gutey on down to a large number of the Packers fan base believes Rodgers doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to how much he believed Kumerow could help the team.
The last time I looked, he was the guy throwing the ball, and the one whose results were predicated on these receivers and blockers, doing their jobs. If a guy keeps missing blocks, Rodgers is the first one to know it. When guys don't run smart routes, Rodgers is the first one to know it.
The last I heard, the job of a GM is to keep a team firing on all cylinders, and if that means keeping a guy around who can do something that makes your key player comfortable on the field, you sure as hell do it.
Even in baseball, there are teams that will keep a catcher around who's essentially not as good as someone else, because they are the only guy who can get the best out of a specific pitcher. If Kumerow is one of those "catchers," Gutey should have made sure he was available for Rodgers.
I doubt there are too many GMs stupid enough to shut the QB out of conversations because they want to show they are in charge. Gutey may be one of few who does it.
I get that but you have to produce at a high value position and he did not. Sure sometimes you carry that catcher on a team but he’s only in the lineup once every 5 days. The guy ran below avg routes and only separated because of his speed.I keep thinking how everyone from Gutey on down to a large number of the Packers fan base believes Rodgers doesn't know what he's talking about when it comes to how much he believed Kumerow could help the team.
