Rodgers Wants Out

What deal terms? Did I miss something?
Nada and each day that goes by why do I sense that it’s basically a Last Dance Part 2….::

One last year low base, big signing bonus spread out over 4 more with 3-4 void years, 2023 voids again 7 days before league year

Chicago has the perfect situation for a total rebuild/reload/retool . . . whatever you want to call it.

New GM and coach and no expectations from the owner, fanbase, or media for immediate success.

Brand new young QB who isn't going to be barking about not wanting to be part of a rebuild.

Create as much CAP space as you can to allow you to be flexible in acquiring talent, and accumulate as much draft capital as possible to give you lots of draft lottery tickets to find winners to add to your roster. Dumping Mack makes complete sense. Not re-signing costly veterans like Alan Robinson, also makes sense. He's still relatively young and will want a big contract and doesn't want to be part of a multi-year rebuild. Take your COMP pick and use it wisely.
Yep new GM and Coach have no connection to any player can build the way they want

After watching Andrew Brandt talk on Eisen, I believe this is where it’s going.
As Brandt said, that “void” year for 2023 is something you just don’t give up

Packers FO deserves to be fired if he gets 4 void years

My point is more, considering how wrong many of us were on the situation, including Brandt, why is he still making predictions? Nothing has been made public, it’ll be out there by next week. I think it’s odd for Brandt to double down just to save face.

Exactly it’s his “control” chip.

The fact that structure was not complete that’s a red flag to me. They had how many weeks? Sure maybe not communicating but still odd

Either way we have 4 days tops for something to be done with Rodgers as contract is going do have to be done by them to help get them under cap. Rodgers can't play under current 2022 deal

Just odd that structure is not done. Strange
