From what I saw the game is way to fast for Love right now. Unless this new Rodgers contract is a 1 year deal best to trade Love get something instead of letting him walk in FA.
 
So I wonder with Rodgers winning the battle and the war once his agent told him he's getting all he wanted if he went WWF Ted DiBiase and gave off a evil laugh.

Nobody won a battle. The organization dropped its drawers on multiple occasions over the past 2 years. They caved

Go back and watch Royce Newman improve his ability to pick up inside stunts and zero blitzes.

Why go with Benkert as a backup and trade Love before he develops? Why not wait until we can get something for him? If he plateaus we can still get then what we could get now.
 
If Aaron doesn't sign a new contract, he has an "out" next year and can sign anywhere for free. Remember that part? <popcorn ready>

Because odds are slim Love is going to develop in GB because odds are Rodgers likely plays the whole season so that's why you cut your losses and move on instead of waiting 2 years letting him become a FA and not even getting a comp pick as he signs a cheap deal with another team
