Rodgers Wants Out

Rodgers doesn't need the time.

The new center, new wide/slot receiver, young receivers and tight ends, young running backs, and young offensive line need the practice with Rodgers to learn Rodgers pre-snap calls and changes.

If Rodgers comes back late, it will be a disaster - especially in full loud stadiums making it harder to do calls
And that’s basically 2 people, Amari Rodgers and Josh Meyers. If there is a concern it’s timing with the WR but that’s not much of a concern either long term.

last year there was no otas and no training camp. rodgers had only his best season ever, and the packers offense was best in the league. quite the disaster.

sure it may take the one new wide receiver a little time to adjust. but that would have been true anyway. not really concerned about any of the others that you mentioned though. depending on who the new center is, rodgers has probably already worked with him in practice. he has for sure already worked with both of the top two running backs and any tight end that is likely to see the field.

yeah would be nice to get Rodgers work with a new center but not awful it htey come in cold with no work

that was last year when basically everyone had no OTA or real camps... this season is a normal off-season. So yeah he's putting us at a disadvantage by not getting in time IF he plans on playing.

An interesting footnote to Rodgers career is that his two best seasons - 2011, 2020 - came in years when there were no OTAs and limited training camps league wide.

And, let's not forget last year's stadiums were quiet which took away home field. Rodgers could do a lot at the line every game.
What it really did was level the playing field for both home and away games.

While it took away some home field advantage for GB, it also helped on road games where they didn't have to put up with opposing fan noise.

Aaron Rodgers: “I’m going to enjoy the hell out of this week. And then get back to working out, and figure things out in a couple weeks”
