RIP Bob Lanier

“The Dobber” was a fan favorite in Milwaukee after his trade from Detroit. Only wish he had a chance to play in the finals. He was a resident of my hometown, Mequon during his playing days and was just a down to earth guy.

Never saw him as he was ending career when I was just a todler.

Bob was a classic big-man back when that was a big part of the game. He was one of the best in the "big man" era. I remember him well as that was a time when my dad and I were still really into the NBA. My interest waned in the years after Bob left.
