Pass pro was adequate but they still created some pressure with sending only 4 and that’s a bit concerning. Newman was just a turnstile
 
Rodgers dead last in the NFL with a QBR of 13.5 and rating of 36.8

Bridgewater #1 in QBR with 95.7 and Wilson number one with a rating of 152.3

FO overheard Rodgers say his favorite DC (to play against) was Joe Barry and misinterpreted it.

In all seriousness, this is essentially the same D as last year. It takes a while to polish a turd, and when you do it's still a turd.

I get the angst on the DC, it was not pretty but what were the upgrades? Did I expect to get gashed for 171? no but the song remains same....lack of pressure, no TFL's, Campbell was adequate but the DL got pushed back 2-4 yds a pop.

I keep going back and forth. Someday I look at the roster and see all the dollars strapped to all this "top talent" and wonder if it really is top talent or not.

Straight up, his system doesn't fit the players. Sometimes you can get away with it pack But Berry is notorious for not adjusting. I have to put it at the feet of ML for hiring him and Gute and company for craptastic pro personal and drafting...still let's not sugar coat even if it is week 1.

It seems this was a 1 year hire they could not find anyone better will hope the offense once again covers for a crappy defense and then try to make a hire of a decent DC.

Depends on perspective. Bak, Rodgers are top talent so is Adams. The rest on offense is good but not going to see Canton. On defense you have Clark, Alexander and Z Smith but the rest is next tier

It’s today’s NFL your going to have holes, that’s the cap. But the issue in GB is the drop off is more pronounced than KC or Tampa. Parity
