Post Game Packers Defeat Giants 27-20

Crux of the issue for me is that at the time of the Parsons trade, it's clear now they weren't one player away. Yes they needed the stud, which they got, but they needed a corner and they needed an interior DL. Those guys didn't need to be studs either, just competent players. It's a shame because there were avenues to help out there and Gute stayed put. The current puzzle pieces just don't quite fit, there are gaps.
Agree with everything you're saying but just to point out the bright side of the Parson's trade - you have him for multiple years, so it's not a one-and-done deal. The next GM (hopefully in '26) can still fix the CB, DL, OL issues while still having a stud edge rusher, in his prime, for a few more years.

there was a penalty called against the Pack on one of the drops . . . so that's why it doesn't show in the stats
thanks, howard. an issue even bigger than the two drops for me is the fact that musgrave only played two snaps in the entire second half. what a waste of a second round pick. thank goodness we got kraft in the fifth round, but we could have used two really good tight ends. honestly, gute should have traded him to the chefs when he had a chance.

For me, its about going pit of the organization and having fresh eyes on the talent. I know it's more intricate than getting rid of the whole crew. Maybe it's just Gutey pulling the trigger snd not listening to his scouts, evaluator, etc or maybe it's the whole shabang and a faulty evaluation process that is systemic, you know, as in, Gutey likes his guys to evaluate the way he does therefore they all have the same deficiencies. Anyways, not to hijack the thread but the lack of talent in those areas is killing this team and a waste of a damn good QB and HC.

ML needs to stop pretending just says he's not getting the job done thus he's not going to play. But if you are going to play a guy who sucks and can't get the job done I have to question ML on this one.

LaFleur says Luke Musgrave "absolutely needs to play more" than he did in the second half."We'll make sure that happens."Said the drop/fumble will get magnified but that he did a pretty good job overall.

i can't believe that ml is actually that delusional. he's probably trying to make sure he doesn't completely kill musgrave's trade value.
