Post Game Packers Defeat Giants 27-20

A "meh" game on both sides of the ball. It's a win, so you celebrate it, and move on. Yesterday, against what the Giants were trying to do, they really missed Slayton and Clark on the d-line because they just did very little to replace either of them.

The o-line had another mediocre day and it's a big part of what holds the offense back every week. This week they had fewer bonehead penalties, but substituted bonehead drops. It's always sonething with this group, it seems.

It's midseason and it's clear what they need to do in the off-season - add 2-3 solid o-linemen (one of which needs to be a starting center) and a solid run stopping d-lineman, along with a #1 CB. I'd pass on everything else and focus on those 3 positions, exclusively.

This is whack. I'm not sure how tradable Gary's contract is next year but it's worth exploring a trade for a pick when the season is over.

I got blasted in pre-season by people on social media saying Gary is lazy and takes a lot of plays off. he is in the low to mid 60% for snap count this year.

he played just well enough to get that insane contract extension (he is the second highest paid player behind love), and our only out was before this year started. poor cap management decisions.
